Question Feat of Strength for beta players?

I'm here to collect opinions about : do you think it's OK to give a feat of strength to beta players?

On one side, beta players were sad because they had absolutely no in-game reward for playing it.

All of the other people who didn't get to play the beta think they just got spit in the face. Beta players were already lucky enough to play the game before everyone else, and they get a feat of strength + sigil on top of that?! Very unfair.

If so, feat of strength are only about being lucky, nothing about being skilled, and aren't worth much.

I didn't get to play beta and I could care less. It is just blizzards way of thanking the people who invested time in reporting bugs, etc. to make the game what it is now. For that, they can have an extra pc. of eye candy. It wont give them any advantage in game.

Feats of strength are just achievements that are not possible to get because there was only one opportunity, and I can't imagine why that would bother people. My WoW characters had several feats of strength (usually related to expansion launch events, but a few other things as well).

The sigil's no thing. People spent months playing the first hour of gameplay over and over again. Give them a purely cosmetic reward? Definitely.

    I wasn't in beta.

Life ain't fair, deal with it.

With that said, I couldn't care less about this (or any other) achievement or sigil, and would gladly give mine away if it was possible.
Ain't playing the actual game the real reason we're all here? who gives a rat's *** about about a little achievement which gives no points and plays no role in the game?

    Stop being such drama queens

I'm an achievement whore, and I am very thankful to be given a feat of strength for this. Pretty dang cool of Blizzard to do this in my view.

I couldn't find the "I don't care, this is irrelevant, people need to get over it" option.

    So I clicked Yes.

Art contests, story contests etc. how is that not skill/talent? Everyone had their chance, if you're SUPER SKILLED but never had a chance to be randomly drawed, that was your option.
And FYI, most Feats of Strenght are about luck, you'll notice that when D3 launches, or if you ever played WoW.

So far, we have a lot of posts on the "yes" side. However, more then 50% of people think they shouldn't (from the poll so far).
I'm curious to hear why people think they shouldn't receive a reward, it's nothing about rage really, just saying your opinion.

You obviously don't care a lot about this, but some people DO care and think it's a big deal.
Since my real b.net account is not tagged, I don't want to be flamed by noobs with the sigil who clocked like 3 hours of beta gameplay and who have no clue of what they're doing.

I don't really know how to answer the poll. Am I glad I got free stuff (however trivial)? Sure, I like getting free stuff. If the sigil is cool, I might use it.

However, if I were the king of Blizzard's PR department, would I have allowed this to happen? Hell no. Unless official corporate policy is "troll our customers".

Do I think that the Unchosen are making too big a deal about this? Yes.

If I were an Unchosen, would I be slightly miffed? Probably.
