That is true, but if you are scum better to allow noodle to claim a SPF role for you than too deny it. Plus you could dodge the question and essentially be soft claimed. W_M was a character that I thought about claiming, if I wanted to stay hidden as it is a character that is unlikely to be in the game (from what I know of FoE), but is definitely a possibility.

Why? He seems to be implying, that he has nothing to hide. It might be better if he actually claims what the role he is trying to breadcrumb is, otherwise I imagine we may be going round in circles.

It is probably a good thing that he didn't softclaim W_M as I would have been highly skeptical (given it was the exact role I was thinking of claiming if I needed a cover story).

It probably rubs you the wrong way because I said "I'd rather be honest here" in a game where half of everything said is a lie. I'm sure a lot of people avoid saying those words simply for that reason. That's my assumption, anyway.

No, it's more the "since it would have worked" portion. That suggests that you are hiding something beyond just your role name, and my first instinct is to assume that something is of a sinister nature.

Yes autti and I were both mafia last game. I really do have a soft spot for noobs though. Although I can't say that autti being my partner last game didn't cloud my judgment.

I have too, as most emb posters likely would. I think he is crumbing 1 of 2 people. However they are both somewhat obscure I'd say, so no guarantee they'd actually be in the game. IE a fairly safe scum claim.
