Here's what I'm thinking:

Places I'm torn: Will Cyclone Strike be effective as a control skill? It seems pretty great combined with the 25% dr from Resolve, but this build is a lot worse if it's not effective in clustering mobs for the rest of the party to asplode...
Exploding Palm seems potentially incredible in high difficulties, but not too good against bosses... Maybe this is one that would get switched a lot with Seven-Sided Strike.
The combination of party damage buffs and enemy damage debuffs the monk can offer seems really powerful to me, especially when heals are also damage buffs.
This is also a pretty offense-oriented variant of the build concept, but it'd be fairly easy to sacrifice some offense for more defense-oriented abilities.
Also, it seems like there must be a better use of the thir passive slot than Combination Strike, but I can't find it... Thoughts?
i was discussing cyclone strike today with a friend and how you could "potentially" pull in a huge quantity of mobs and then blinding flash followed by a cripple wave beatdown (or any favored AOE attack) . it all hinges on how much pull cyclone actually has , if it has a huge pull in radius and brings them all really close and clustered it could be brutal.
its a wait and see ~
Yeah, I've been on the fence about Blinding Flash... It'd be really good if the cooldown was just a little shorter. It may still be.
If Cyclone has a good pull (and it should for 50 spirit) I think it'll be pretty great. I'm a little torn between the Implosion rune and Eye of the Storm. Eye reduces spirit cost by 40%, and Implosion doubles AoE... but more casts mean more Resolve procs.
