Joining a especific game?

I searched for this topic and didn't find anything, so I'd like to know this: how do I join a especific game where a friend is already playing? I played the beta and the only options I saw were creating a new game or joining a random one, according to the quest selected. Sorry for the noob question, but this has been bugging for some time.

You just add them to your friends list and on the right hand side it will tell you that they are in a game and all you have to do is click the button.

How about a much more stupid question: how do you add a person as friend in D3?

Ingame you can press "o" and the menu for friend list appear. Outside of games, there is even a button for it.
It's very easy to add friends after that, you just need their battletag.
You can also add friends by right clicking at their avatars ingame

There's also a list with people you have recently played with. You can add them from there also.

I think you can right-click on a player's portrait in the top left of the screen to add them as a friend as well (or to ignore them, or a few other features).

Do note that if you're looking to join a game with someone, they have to set the privacy options for their game so that friends can join. It's possible to create a game that's closed to everyone (and people can join only by invitation), open only to friends (who can join automatically by clicking "join game" on their friends-list), or completely open to the public (and people who search for a random game to join will be added into their game).
