Me
Can barely play SC2 on the lowest settings, and ran D3 real slow.
Not me. I've been waiting more than 10 years for this game.. I want it to run well.
I'm running it on a 4 year old iMac. Considering that, I dropped some of the settings for the beta and it still ran astonishingly well, even with 4 players. I can live without some finer details :P
Maybe its time to upgrade? You can build a computer(excluding the monitor mouse keyboard etc) that can run this game quite well on low settings for the price of two collectors editions.
And as an added bonus you get to see sc2 on high settings !
I have a fairly modern system, but the awesome physics still wreck my system. I might overclock a bit before launch, but... I really, really don't wanna fry my CPU a day before! Otherwise, I hope they're right about the retail client having better performance than the beta!
really ? what is fearly modern ?
I just build a PC for D3 but thought i could keep it relatively cheap because of the low requirements. Will my core I5 2500 with radeon HD6800 be good to run it on reasonably high settings ?

I think I feel your pain.
2.0 Dual core processor.
8600 GT
:(
I still think it will do okay though. Apparently the beta wasn't really optimized and I always felt it was pretty close to being butter smooth. BUT STILL! -- not exactly the best set up.
I was impressed with how well the beta ran on my laptop actually, I was expecting it to be quite poor. Though I switched to the lowest settings as soon as I started.
2.5 dual core
radeon hd 4350
