Heres my inferno build

or

Good control, damage and survivability
Concerns for me would be keeping discipline up and single target dps
I think Marked For Death should be replaced with Preparation. If you have Caltrops (especially if you're going to be dropping it all the time for the buff) and Shadow Power, and another Discipline draining power, you'll probably start having trouble. Bitter Pill is an idea, but I don't think it'll be enough to keep it all up.
Edit: I can see your dilemma, though. Chain Gang is probably too diffuse when it comes to damage. I think you'll need to switch runes, at least.
How often are you planning to group?

I plan on grouping a lot or even multiboxing.
I was hoping night stalker and bitter pill is enough to keep discipline up. I don't plan on spamming shadow power but only to use it in needed moments. Then it really comes down to caltrops and marked for death as spells during every fight. I don't even think ill be spamming caltrops as well. I only really need to use it once for the crit buff then if they step over it, it will give me the damage reduction because they will be in my range.
In a group, I can see mark of death being very useful for increasing single target dps, increasing survivability, and helpful for the group.
I was also thinking about taking out entangling shot and hope that a party member brings a slow or someone that will take upfront hits for me.
I'm interested in how would you change my build, if you could link a new one for me
and your current hardcore build.
Hmm, if you're doing public games, then you'll probably still need the single-target damage, but if you're playing in a reliable group, you might be able to get away with not having it so much. Someone will need to be able to bring the heat.
I'll see if I can post a build later, but a quick change I might make would be just to give up and switch to Rapid Fire, and keep your generator as it is. That AoE/multi damage from Strafe will be helpful in a group, but I think Rapid Fire will bring more utility to this build. But this is sort of a drive-by analysis.
Edit: Hardcore, huh? Hardcore Inferno is a tough one, because the builds might really need to be defensively extreme.
I Thought the build I posted was defensive and team oriented as I could make it.
I'm hoping there will be items that will boost my damage and also maybe some way to have discipline scale? Not sure about the discipline one but I hope there is some modifier.
Well Strafe is certainly nice for staying on the move. The problem is that if you have no burst, then you're really relying on everyone else to take out priority targets. I'm wary of relying on Strafe because it's so non-targeted and liable to unload on the environment instead of monsters. And Impale actually makes more sense than Rapid Fire, if I were to switch spenders. But it would certainly mean more standing still. But you have snares, so it would be hard for me to argue that you MUST stay moving that much.
Your Discipline can scale a little from items, and you'll probably want those. I can see the party benefit to having MfD. But if you're going to keep MfD, that makes the case even stronger for having a single-target power. Anyway, I suspect you'll want to carpet the ground with Caltrops a lot more than you imagine. Luckily, Caltrops is somewhat spammable.

Hatred regen, +Discipline (maxes out at +10) and some Skills - reduced Hate Chakram, Evasive Fire damage, Grenades damage, reduced Hate Impale, Spike Trap damage, Strafe crit chance.
Considering you can get your critical damage to almost 300% just from gear and you can reach almost 4 APS, I think the Strafe crit chance is looking good. Real good. I am sceptical of the 108k damage the Hero Builder is reporting, but even if it was 1/5th that a critical hit will be massive. If it's accurate, however...
Based on information from this post. I have redone my build
Note: for Hardcore Inferno

If I play solo, I'll be using a templar to tank for me.
In group play, I'll be very useful for the team.
Night stalker - to regen discipline, build focused on discipline skills
Archery w/ hand xbows - 10% crit chance
numbing traps - decrease opponents damage by 25% when in trap, great for defense and team
Hungering arrow - increasing damage output from previous skill build
runed for pierce chance to increase damage output when against single target
Strafe - AOE damage / can be substituted for rapid fire w/ high velocity, for good aoe and single target damage
Caltrops - group slow, group damage reduction, 10% crit for increased damage / spammable spell
Shadow power - o Sh*t button, regen 20% damage as life, reduce damage by 65%, IMO too strong of a spell to pass up
Mark for death - increased damage for team, can be runed depending on need / aoe / single target regen
Sentry - interchangable for anything (vault, prep, etc) - good for 15% damage reduction small dps boost for single target
It's my understanding that there will be multiple viable builds.
I'm interested in reading others thoughts.
I am turned off by builds with 3 + hatred generators and 2 + hatred spenders because it seems like a waste of a lot of defensive abilities and team play needed for hardcore inferno.
If there is a build that you think will work for hardcore, I'd love to see it.
With half decent crit chance spray of teeth should be the rune to use for hungering arrow.
Also point to note that rapid fire doesn't fire seeking arrows and pierce doesn't translate to damage like it does with HA. Bombardment is direct upgrade over high velocity rune. Does more damage and has the multi target potential as well.
Thanks I am aware that pierce doesn't translate to damage like HA but I figure it was good for aoe damage to mobs behind the main target, but bombardment was an upgrade that I have overlooked.
I am keeping pierce with HA though. From reading other posts, it looks like pierce with HA will be a nice upgrade for single target dps and rapid fire will be for group aoe.

Edit:
Thinking about it, rapid fire still does decent single target and group aoe damage.
Maybe hungering arrow can be switched out for bola for discipline gain, entangling shot for life regen.
I'm excited to see what the cookie cutter diablo 3 DH hardcore build is going to be.
