Pretty crazy attempt in my opinion. I did 63 hours when I went for world first level 60 in Rift when it was released. I do not think I could of played 70, let alone 109 hours. Good luck to him / her.
Quite foolish to do this in my opinion. Someone needs to get him/her to snap out of it and relize that this is really bad for her/his health.
Wow, another completely pointless "record" that nobody is going to care about. Poor guy needs some direction in his life.
What country is he from? I want to read about him in the papers.
EDIT: Australia. BRB going to bookmark .au news websites.
I am sure he will have some people monitoring him. Most people die playing games for a long period of time because they are idiots and dont eat, drink, or sleep. People have stayed up for upwards of 11 days I believe. I think there is a very small chance he actually dies from 4 and a half days.
He's going to take 30 minute breaks every four hours or so, which makes it much less hazardeous.
It's stupid, but not that stupid.
Sleep deprivation alone won't kill you unless you have very rare genetic condition (which will kill you once triggered because you literally can't sleep after that). It's impossible to stay awake long enough for it to kill you for a normal person.
Over/Under for how long it takes Battle.net to go down for maintenance and ruin his chances?
Rules state that if that happens he can play a different game supposedly.
