Please forgive my stupidity.....pc spec

I know my current pc wont run d3 so i've decided to get a new one. I'm on a veeeeery tight budget, I've seen a few cheap pc's with either Intel G530, G620 or G860 processors. They all have HD200 onboard graphics which I doubt will work, but I've seen a Radeon HD 6450 card for rather cheap.

Would these processors/graphics card work or am I better off going up to a i3 processor and a different card? Sorry for the silly questions but Im a little 'out of the loop' when it comes to pc components, last time I built a pc was when pentium 3's just came out lol.

Whats your budget, that is the question :-) i3 is definitely money/price wise..and more than enough for d3 and 99% of games.

Pretty sure it wouldn't.
With AMD, the second number is important: 6 - Generation 4 - powerlevel (you should get at least a card with a 5 here) 50 - further power for your e-peen

Your best bet is to go for an AMD APU and then get the biggest you can afford. The next generation of these cpu/Gpu come out 15 may btw, the so called trinity, and they are better than the ones out now.

Thanks for the info, I've seen a pc with i3-2120, 6gb ram and 500gb hard drive for £380 buy now pay in 9 months (im veeeery poor at the moment lol) and have seen a HD 5770 and HD 6750 for around the £70 mark. So looking at this spec would I be ok?

amazon.co.uk has some Radeon HD 6770 cards for around 80 pounds. Try to get at least something like that.

Yes you would be okay. It's a desktop right? Cause I thought you wanted a laptop. But an i3 desktop with a 5770/6770/7770 would be good to go.

Edit: You need to make sure there's a good enough power supply in that machine, or you will need to buy that too. The 5770 needs 450 watt, and the others actually need more according to the AMD homepage.

an intel g850 with a Radeon 7750 and 4gbs of memory should be pretty inexpensive, and you'll be able to get by with a very cheap power supply (the 7750 draws power from the slot, it doesn't need a wire)

the 7750 is somewhat equivalent to the radeon 6770 and the nvidia 550 ti

My plans have changed a little bit so i've don a bit of searching for something prebuilt. I found an hp xw4400 on ebay with 2.4ghz dual core 4gb ram for £125, all i need then is a good graphics card.
