Does your class choice depend on voice acting? This was brought to my attention by a friend who decides whether to play the male or female version based on the character's voice.
Here's an example of the voice acting for each class and gender:

What do you guys think?
I can't for the life of me figure out why they thought these thick accents would go well with the monk, especially the female feels like they accidentally switched it with the barbarian's voice. I quite like the male WD, DH and barbarian voice acting though.
Outside maybe the fem Wiz most of the VAs seem robotic and bland to me, so meh.
The DH (male and female) has the best voice acting of them all.
I personally really dislike these sort of videos when it comes to choosing a gender based on voice acting - the best examples of the game's voice acting are when your character is talking to NPCs.
While the beta was up, I should have made a video demonstrating this. I wish it had occured to me.
Hearing each class/gender's dialogue about why Haedrig isn't mourning for his wife is one of the best examples. To me, that sort of stuff influences my decision much more than simply each gender's generic "we must go" or "follow me" line. That's where you hear the actual acting.
Male Wizard is my favorite, only because he's the same voice actor in many english dubbed animes i watch. His voice alone drew me in because it was so recognizable. Male Wiz will be my first character at midnight.
Haha - some real voiceacting superstars here in D3 ^_^.
Do you know who the other VAs are? Like the Male/Female Barb, WD, Monk, and DH? o_0
