DIABLO III Collectors edition UK and AU VERSION

Hey guys since the DIABLO III Collectors Edition is sold out in AUS i am planning to buy it over in the UK and get it over here in AUS. MY question is, is there any difference at all with the UK version compared to AUS or they are completely identical? thanks.

If you are specifically using a UK copy of the collector's edition, then as I understand it, you will be bound to the EU Real-Money Auction House.

That should be the only difference, as far as I'm aware.

Of course, how Zoot understands something doesn't necessarily have much bearing on how things actually are.

It's possible (and more likely imo) that regional restrictions (like the ones on the RMAH) are based purely off your Battle.Net account location.

However, we don't know for sure yet and anyone that tries to tell you otherwise better provide a verifiable source.

Copys arent region specific. UK collectors Edition will be fine for Aus.

except China which is region locked.

lol, it's not a grudge but the caveat is important. I prefer that people are clear when they are speculating, especially when it could effect how someone else spends their hard earned money.

Autti is right actually, it doesn't matter which version of the game you have.

As long as it's a boxed copy you will be able to play on EU when it launches, and NA when that launches. Locked regions include China and Korea only.

Moreover, if you have a digital US/AUS version of the game, you will not be able to play on EU while you wait for the NA servers to go up because the digital version does not unlock until 12:00 am pst.
