    I just think people are underestimating how hard inferno and even hell are gonna be based off their experience with Diablo 2 and the diablo 3 open beta. Neither of which have any real bearing on D3's difficulty. I don't doubt someone will solo HC inferno. I just don't think it's gonna happen in 4 months like someone had guessed. Maybe it could happen in that time frame if the person was literally the god of gaming that played like 16 hours a day and had the greatest string of luck ever. Maybe I'll be proved wrong.

    Ps: And on a sidenote, the characters has a lot of exciting Defensive skills/traits. I plan to use them all. Will be fantastic to see all the Diablo newcomers (see, I refrained from using a more depreciated word) who will take all the offensive skills and try to mow down the difficulties when trying HC out.

    Probably not impossible, they have said they wont inssta kill you.
    None of us here have seen any of the later parts Terrrian mobs bosses as such.

    One thing to note, making Inferno totally hard in needed as D2 had a insane lvl cap of 99 for grinding.
    Thus in D3 u r supposed to be near 60 in a SC full clear so for HC probably half way through Hell you already MAx lvl.
    It will all pans out on how you play, or how far you can play into the content. Not high how lvl u are in HC vs D2.

    Playing with a full group on Inferno should be hard in that way, that you can't run off alone or you get raped.

    I think there's an important distinction between "being designed to be unbeatable" and "not being designed to be beatable."

    its about "not being designed for HC" - in nutshell Blizzard dont design game for HC characters , they dont desing it to be NON-HC either (you wont encounter situation when geared skilled and knowlegable you will still die without being able to do f about it). They do it for normal characters and since it can be compleated by norma characters then it can be done by HC ones too - just there is no room for error.
    simple.
    HC overally is not supported by BLizz its just there because its appealing only to minority (i guess less then 5% of players will go HC full time) - its there as it cost close to no resource to implement.

    If inferno will be hard enough to keep ppl occupied till expansion then i dont find reason to HC.

    I'm expecting a slow rollout of nerfs over time. Years from now, players will be bragging how they beat inferno before patch 1.X. Patch 1.X will be more controversial than the RMAH.
