Little late but Meh.
The Kings prevail. Which makes the universe seem like things are in their proper place.
There's something ... I dunno ... odd -- awkward, incongruous, just plain weird -- whenever the Canucks win a playoff series.
Having them lose puts me back in familiar, comfortable territory.
Well Buffalo could not get past the Capitals to get into the playoffs. The Caps put up two nice seven game series but could not beat the Rangers (who had a homecoming late last night). So I don't have much interest now. lol... @ the Red Wings this year.
I really Miss SkiHard and Hockey Chick this year.
Just so I could rub in the Kings winning playoff season at this point.
NJ VS LA

wait what, only Kings fans left? so much for any delightful enmity
Go Kings, much more entertaining than Matt Kemp's hamstrings
Yeah, the Red Wings lost early this year
1 to 1 and we have overtime.
Good matchup
without any Devils fans how am I supposed to subsist on the bitter tears of the vanquished?
2-0 Kings !
In the Finals. On the Road.
Historic Season.
Kings notes: L.A. ties NHL postseason record for road victories
The Kings are 10-0 on the road this postseason, tying the 1995 and 2000 Devils — who each won the Stanley Cup — and the 2004 Flames — who lost a seven-game Cup Finals to the Lightning — for the NHL record for playoff road wins. The Devils will have to win one of the next two games in Los Angeles for the Kings to have a chance to break the record in a Game 5 on Saturday.
Lets not bother OK?
Sweep instead..
Haven't been interested in the Final that much.
Just happy that NYR didn't get through.
Kings have earned this one.
History note: If the Kings win the Stanley Cup, only the St. Louis Blues of the 1st six expansion teams of 1967 have not won the cup. The Penguins and Flyers have won. And the hapless Oakland Seals merged with the Northstars who later won as the Dallas Stars.
I thought the Blues would win this years Cup when the playoffs started and I'm a Kings Fan.
Kings of the Road
3-0 Kings in the Cup.
Jonathan Quick has the MVP locked up as well.
