I can't wait. Give me news and live streams ASAP.
I will avoid all spoilers for 12-24 hours while I rush through.
I will avoid all spoilers several days while I play through.
Not sure yet.
Stocking up on Chocolate milk, subway turkey subs, fresh can of ground coffee, a dozen timmies doughnuts and locking myself away for a week hehe. Oh an going to the Midnight launch to pick up my game box at the Eaton center EB Games on the 14th, will be ready to decrypt at 3am and go nuts hehe.
Does anyone have the link to a good EU stream? Preferably one in English.
I will try to hold off from playing or reading anything for 2 weeks while I wait for a month long vacation visit to my home town. The likelihood of this actually happening is slim to none considering I am a professional poker player, meaning I can choose not to work at any point and install the game. I'm sure I will have no discipline here and get the game upon release. I will also have a bunch of peer pressure because at least 10 of my IRL friends will be playing the game. Chances of me staying strong are very small
Spoil me rotten.
I'll be avoiding any Diablo sites until I've beated normal/nightmare.
Then I'll spend a couple days straight reading up and learning how I was terrible and how I should feel bad for sucking balls. Then onto inferno!
Yup, I'm planning on sleeping too. I have work the next day, and want to get in as much playing as possible after the 2 am start (for US central time). Sadly, the only place I can get it around here at midnight seems to be Walmart. And I don't want to pay the same for a digital copy as a boxed copy.
I second this suggestion.
I will be playing all day on Launch Day so how would I get spoiled?

Definitely going dark on the 14th. I want to play through the story by myself or with a buddy or 2 as long as no one skips the cut scenes the first time around!
This is an interesting questions because personally I see the story of D3 as an after thought. I play Diablo for the loot! However that being said, I think Blizzard has increased the emphasis they are putting on the story this time around. So maybe I will pay more attention to it.
Conversely, I don't know how much I am going to be able to play right after the release. The release is very badly time due to my board exams. So I might end up seeing some spoilers just, because I won't be able to play much for a couple weeks until after the game comes out.
I dislike live streams... just have no interest in watching others play video games. However, I will totally be READING spoilers, soon's I get home from work on the 15th. Very curious about changes from Beta and the content of the later Acts, and I completely agree with that article that says spoilers enhance the experience... I like the sense of recognition when I hit it in the game for the first time myself.
After that, I have two days off work to play... we'll see if that takes me through Normal, I am a slow and very thorough player though and I kind of hope it doesn't![]()
