To the people buying CE copies, how will be using yours? der=0>

Judging by the results of said posted poll, it seems the general consensus is on purchasing a product for actual use as opposed to purchasing it for winning the proverbial ebay lottery.

I'm really not against lotteries and gambling out of principal, but one thing many of us on this message board have in common is excitement over this game. If you are willing to double or triple someone's profit over this game for a chance to actually get or use said collector's edition, you must be very excited about this game. Hence, if you are someone selling this game, you're not just happy over turning a tiny profit, you're ripping off one of US. I'm very happy over the results. For every 1 person that gets a copy to flip, that's 1 less person excited about the game that gets their copy, or has to buy it on ebay for way too much.

Using it... I have a growing collection of Blizzard game CEs that includes everything from Warcraft 3 onwards (sadly I was like in middle-school when D2 first came out and even if I was aware of the CE's existence, there was no way I could afford it at that point. I was barely able to get the WC3 one before they sold out everywhere...) and I don't intend on selling any of them, although I could certainly make a pretty penny off of the vanilla WoW one.

Fact of the matter is, Blizzard produces a lot more of its Collector's Editions than they used to (you were lucky if you found 1 or 2 copies of the D2, War 3 and original WoW ones at a store after they were released) and the newer ones just aren't rare enough to give you much profit unless you wait like 10 years maybe...

Would like to add that while i disagree with the practice of flipping items that are hard to get or sold out i didn't really mean anything by my post other then i intend to enjoy my copy. Meant no offense, and it came across worse then i wanted it to.

On Topic: I wonder if its even going to be that rare, in time it will be but at launch i think theirs going to me more supply then demand as most people are going to grab a digital copy so they can play right away.

Same, I initially wanted to use it, but $100 felt a bit much for a fancy USB stick and some minor graphical changes. Especially after knowing that the dye wasn't as described (thought it would have that glowing effect that they say in the description).

I bought the SC2 CE just to get my fancy Diablo portrait on the forums.

Of course after I saw the fervor over the CE I had $$$ signs in my eyes but I will use mine. The Diablo series is simply my favorite videogame series of all time.

I think I will use the wings. probably a female wiz or female DH. The wings would seem lame on any other (although admittedly I haven't seen them in action yet).

I don't know about the dyes. I am a solid color guy. Looking for black, white, or red. that is until they put out ones with particle effects (c'mon expansion pack!!).

TBH it will mainly serve to shorten the time between inserting DVD into computer and playing the game. I will be reading artbook while it will be installing. I dont care that much about digital items, they are nice but I didnt buy CE because of them.
