I totally agree and have been saying this since the treasure goblins and their portals were brought into play.... has to be!!

I remember the first time I played the beta I kept clicking the portal thinking I could get in there.

What about having a consumable item that drops in Inferno that makes the portal clickable. In the portal, you fight one of the 'uber' (like the tristam events from d2) bosses or something.

i would be happy if the area was purely for fun. no damn loot at all. give an achievement for beating it and be done with it

i have it on absolutely no athorothy that there definatly will be. So you shouldnt trust me on that

throw in zombie wirt as a random rare merchant, but you have to pay 50 gold to look at what hes selling. would be awesome.
