I've got a GTX 680 sitting in a box next to me waiting to go, so Nvidia can announce whatever they want, you can't wait forever.

If you don't mind the price then I can't disagree with you, the 680 won't disapoint that's for sure.

Usually I'm more of a price/performance type of guy, but this time I thought **** it and went with what I wanted. I'm looking forward to hooking it all up but I need to wait for my CPU (3570k) which I should get on Tuesday.

None of those would require that card. I'm playing GW2 right now and it's currently CPU dependent but when they switch to GPU it wouldn't take much more than a 560 to run it maxed. I can play in stereoscopic while recording it in FRAPS without much trouble.

If you are able to let the GTX680 work itīs lifespan it will keep on trucking for years and years, and as such not be unfeasible at a price/performance ratio. The risk is of course, that you will get that itch to buy new before you really need to, which is an itch common to people buying top of the line cards.

I usually upgrade every 3 years, so I try to get something that will last at least that long.
