/players 8 command

Hi All,

how do you set /players 8 command in Diablo 2 ? is it a command line parameter to pass to Diablo.exe ?

If you're in a single player game (not sure if it works in open battle.net but I do know it doesn't work on closed) you hit enter to bring up the chat box and you type in the command.

Can't remember if there's any verification if it works. I think if you don't get an error you can assume it works.

It works on open or TCP/IP games. It works on any character locally stored.

And there is a verification if you use it, your character says "players set to x" where x is of course the number you entered (1-8).
