We are very happy to introduce a new system that will allow players to recover items that they may have sold, destroyed or disenchanted.
With this new self-service option the recovery of an item or items that were recently deleted or sold to a vendor can be restored to a character immediately when using the ticket submission system on our Battle.net Support site.
For any items that were accidentally disenchanted the same method can be used to request a review by Customer Support for restoration.
This restoration option may only be used once every 30 days on active World of Warcraft accounts that are in good standing.
Additional details can be found in the following Support Article: Battle.net Item Restoration.
While we always strive to help whenever we can, with the introduction of this self-help feature customer support will no longer be able to assist with these types of requests.
As this option has a limited availability we encourage caution when selling, deleting or disenchanting items.

Isn't that for world of Warcraft?
1) This is not related to Diablo.
2) This is just automating something that customer service did all the time manually. (probably why they were able to lay so many of them off)
Oh yeah. I got too excited, lol. Mods may remove this post if they wish....or re-locate it to the WoW Forum please.

Yeah, my Enigma was destroyed in D2, when I purchased D3. Could I please have that recovered to my D3 toon? Hah.
Moved.
And that's good news, although I never needed item restoration myself. Unless I'm counting the bunch of items I got returned when my account was compromised a few years ago.
Raesene, knowing Blizzard's customer service, anything automated is always better. Once per month is actually pretty frequent, people must be quite thick who lose an item to disenchanting or actual destroying once per month.

When people tell me "plz" just because it's shorter than 'please', I feel perfectly justified to answer 'No' because it's shorter than 'Yes'.
And the Lord said unto Carl: 'Come forth and receive eternal life'. But Carl came fifth and won a toaster.
I want my Carrot on a Stick restored! Haha. In all seriousness though the only Item I still have from Vanilla is my Benediction (Anathema for you Shadow Priests)
