    Progression

I am mnot an average gamer and after reading some other posts it seems that normal is not a good place to start for people that don't want it to be a really easy, quick game. So... What level do I start at? I Am reading nightmare? Opinions? Also what is the progression path? Do I complete it on a certain level then it restarts to the next difficulty stage? Do I collect all the best tier gear from that difficulty level and then move on?

    Thanks for responses!

Everyone starts at level 1 in normal mode. You won't have the option to start at higher levels and difficulties are more or less tied to level. A character is expected to be around lvl 30 before entering nightmare, but that's around the level you'll be when finishing normal.

You may be able to purchase characters of varying levels in the AH/RMAH at some point, but I've not heard any mention of it from Blue in a while so it may or may not still be a component of the AH/RMAH when the game ships.

That's news to me...so in essence some character trading? Or along those lines? Am genuinely surprised :s

They mentioned the ability to purchase characters in the AH many months ago, but it hasn't been touched on since and was never enabled in the beta.

I have not heard anything more about it either. I wouldn't worry too much about that though, If they do sell characters, they are not going to be cheap. I would imagine you should be able to finish Normal Mode in a day or two, so you might just consider biting the bullet and doing that. Collect some achievements for your banner along the way.

    Re: Progression

From the blizzard poster (some gm) the progression could look something liek this:

    1-32=normal
    32-55=nightmare
    55-60=hell
    60+=inferno
