So I'm not sure if this has been discussed before...but I found something interesting about a superior weapon mod (+attacks per second mod). Not sure if this also goes with other superior weapon mods..haven't had any to really test. I posted about it in the Battle.net forums but just wanted to see what people think.

Basically, if you have a superior weapon with +attacks per second it also gets applied to your other weapon as well. So in my example that I posted on the official forums I had a sickle that had 1.3 aps and a superior sabre with 1.59aps(+.19aps mod). When looking and the dual wield aps it didn't make sense to me (I know it shows your next weapons aps but even so it wasn't correct after factoring in the dual wield 15% buff). So my sickle instead of just having 1.3x1.15 aps it gets (1.3+.19)*1.15 aps. This makes it much stronger than before.
What made me wonder about it in the first place was that replacing the 11.9 dps sabre with a 13 dps weapon actually lowered my dps and that is what got me to test and figure this out.
Has anyone else noticed this behavior? I believe it would double dip is you had two superior sabres but I haven't had a chance to test that yet. This could make superior weapons quite good.
Yes, for some reason flat APS bonuses on weapons will apply to both of your weapons if you dual-wield, unlike the percentage based bonus. I don't think this will be a problem necessarily, since this bonus can't spawn on Magic and Rare items. Legendaries and Sets are another matter though, because they'll have bonuses that you normally couldn't find in a given item slot. If a one-handed Legendary or Set weapon will come with a flat APS bonus, then it will make it amazing for dual-wielding as things stand now.
If any legendary or set weapons do have mods like this that would make the very powerful for dual wielding. Have you or anyone noticed any other mods that behave this way?
I guess my main point is that Blizzard stated grey/white items were just confetti and not worth picking up...but when a 9.8 dps superior dagger beats a 11.8 blue dagger for dps (like in the video) it seems somewhat contrary to what they want. While we don't know what the rest of the game holds...if these mods are still there on white items and white items have comparable dps (seems like superior whites might) then it could indeed be true we might use them.
Sounds like the +aps on superior weapons is just a leftover from back when it was an actual affix. In that case, I doubt it'll remain.
So, wait, any other stats that can appear on weapons that apply simultaneously to both hands?Yes, for some reason flat APS bonuses on weapons will apply to both of your weapons if you dual-wield, unlike the percentage based bonus.
No, as far as I know every other weapon-specific bonus (any type of bonus weapon damage, procs or +x% attack speed, Life leech) applies only to the weapon on which it spawns. Damage from the primary stats always apply to both weapons of course.
I'm not sure about bonus crit chance, crit damage and on hit bonuses. Since Life leech is per weapon I assume on hit bonuses are the same.
