Character choice - Before/Without and After beta play der=0>

Hey,

I know, similar threads exist, but I'm sorta interested on how oppinion on classes changed specifically after trying out the beta and how much it differs from those, that didn't try it out.

Feel free to describe your impressions here

Personal oppinion:

I was primary playing Necromancers and Sorc's in Diablo 2, so Wizzard and WD were my primary interests.

After trying out the beta (tried barbarian last..), I immidiatly felt in love with the highly dynamic and mobile gameplay ways of the Barbarian and Demon Hunter, and while I'm still very amazed of other classes, I'm going for a barbarian first (i think)

Originally my notion going in was that my first character was going to be a monk. After playing through 3 of them so far (monk, wiz, and DH) I find that I really, really enjoyed playing as a wizard. I was expecting the wizard to be cool and potentially be my 3rd-ish character, but now I'm going to start out playing wizard first. Not really sure what it is I like about him so much, but he really is fun to play as.

I know i have been a hardcore demon hunter fan for a while, and probably still will start one, but I really was won over by the Barbarian Trailer that was recently put out. That one battle shout where he transforms, so reminded me of saijens of dragon ball z. I am a hard core geek, and that really appealed to me.

Pre beta experience I was really up for doing a monk after trying it in beta no matter how much I tried to like him he just felt off for my playstyle. After having tried all the chars I liked wiz the most so gonna go with that.

Wiz all the way, though I had my mind made up in 2008.

Definitely going with the barb. No beta here, but I'm always a huge fan of melee characters. Plus, I liked Barbs in D2 as well.

when d2 was announced my first class choice was "whatever character uses a bow"

after all classes revealed my first choice was DH

after beta started but i was not yet invited my choice was DH

after playing beta my choice was DH

in the last 2 days my choice changed to the Barb. what changed my mind? not really sure. i guess i think it will be a fun starting char that will be good at finding loot for my other characters? we still have a month though soooooooooooooo there is a good chance this will change

I somehow think, that everyone still suffers under the eni-or-sorc-mania.

I had my heart set on a WD. This was the case even just up to a week ago, but suddenly, I'm feeling just a BIT conflicted. I'm still heavily in favour of Male WD to start off, though ^^.

But I really like the Monk as well.
