Can i do Uber Tristram?

I have 3x3 keyset in my stash and I`m pondering if it is wise to risk my character trying to clear ubers.

I`m lvl 88 necromancer my gear is:

worthless +2 Necro circlet (shael)
Mara 27
Enigma
Verdungo 15%
Armo of King Leoric (fhr jewel) + Homunculus (Pdiamond)
Trang Gloves + Sandstorm Treks
BK3 + Dwarf Star

I have low anni, torch and 2 x necro summon skillers. My resists are barely 75 or lower. No stacks. My total life is a bit over 1200 with charms included. I have max block.

fcr = 30
fhr = 57
DR = 23

I dont have:
- CTA of any sort
- No Crushing Blow on my merc (tal mask + shaftop + Reapers Toll)

Can i do ubers?

EDIT: about skills: I have 40 on RS and SM and i use mages (39). Spending my resent skill points on bone armor synergies but it is still quite low. 18 Revive.

i wouldnīt do it, but if you have urdars or the like spawn in your game, they can deal the cb.

while being a necromancer, why does your merc use a reapers toll? you should rather make him an obedience or insight (both do more damage, since the ctc decrep doesn't count) and it wonīt interfere with your cursing. compared to the normal skeletons, mages do negligible damage, rather increase DV or CE if you havenīt done so

you will certainly want more resistences for the fight and some sort of open wounds, like a duress on the merc. i have never run the ubers with a necro but that are my thoughts about what iīve read and experienced when killing them with other classes.

ok.. Reapers Toll is actually quite annoying with its curses but it dropped and i didnt have any better. I do have maxed CE. I never understood why some1 wants to put more points in DV when you have decent bonuses from gear.

The thing is that this characer is old (non-ladder currently) so building Obedience is not an option. Just got back to check my characters while waiting for D3. I have never done ubers so decided collect keys and think more after that. As it is NL pretty hard to trade anything so i have to do with what i can find myself.

I dont think i have even um for duress. If i recall correctly i went all-in for enigma before i left D2 behind. Found couple puls during keyruns but can`t cube those anymore.

If i hunt for Um and make duress would this then be feasible? Or what i should aim for nl..? It would be blast to be done ubers at least once in D2 career. :S

you can farm an um pretty easily by doing countess runs. she hast good drops for ums and equivalent runes.
to kill the ubers you definately need a possibility to stop their life regeneration (open wounds that is, poison doesnīt work well with them), to diminish their live quickly (cb maybe, ctc static from crescent moon) and enough damage to take their remaining life.

while urdars can deal cb, your mercenary needs to have ow. maybe make a crescent moon polearm. it is available in nl, has ow and easy to come by from countess runes. prebuff yourself with fade with a treachery armor and your resists should be sufficient for UT.
iīm not sure if it would be better to have a might or blessed aim mercenary, as afaik the ar of skeletons is not sufficient vs ubers without infinity...

i like putting more points into dv, as you can blind the entire screen with just one cast. one could cast two times more with the same effect, but iīm just lazy as that

Ok now i have duress and got insight as a gift. My Lightning res has shot up to 104, that is most importan vs mephisto right? Fire res is weakest at 82.

Are we ready for ubers now?

If this were softcore I'd say go for it, but IMHO you really ought to get yourself a kira's guardian, or at the very least pre-buff fade with treachery. (Preferably both)

104 lightning resist = -21 lightning resist against meph. Not good.

I play on europe HC-nonladder. I still have those keys in stash. I did some research and realized that in order to kill uber Meph i need to keep merc alive. I have Blackhorn`s Face and played another Char to chapter 5 normal just so i could socket Ort rune on that. I also started hoarding Full rejus for merc/me to keep doing multiple tries. I wish i could add more CB on merc. Guillames helm (which i dont have sadly) would be nice vs Baal and Diablo but vs Meph i need to keep Blackthorn. I still wonder if it is enough.

i did miniubers and now i have organ set. Lilith was actually quite scary with her minions :S had to get more urdars and revive merc in the middle of first engagement. I know that i must reset the game untill "river of flame is filled with urdars". How much that is actually? vs Lilith i had urdars on both sides of WP but i actually had to search quite deep to get urdars for round 2.
