Colossus voulge and cryptic axe have same breakpoint. Threshers are faster but also less damage.
Andariel's + ias jewel will put him at 35 breakpoint which is plenty fine.
Reroll insight until you have a high/perfect roll.
kestegs actually asking for statistical advice? I'm shocked and amazed at the same time.
I'm going to have to third the Andy's with an ias jewel advice. Hitting the 6 frame breakpoint with a CV will give you the biggest increase in dps overall. If the ias jewel has fire res then thats all the more gravy since you will want to counteract the -fire res from andy's.

Assuming all perfect stats and 1.07 bases...you have pretty much two options.
1. Insight CV + Fort + Andy's Visage (ED/IAS jool) - you don't really need any FR since Pit isn't elemental playground
2. Insight GPA + Fort + Andy's Visage (Cham) - enter CBF
In strait up comparison, first setup has 7.4% more dmg, but second setup has CBF. Math is on paper, I just don't want to write it here cause it's bothersome.
CV > CA cause it has higher maxdmg and is more affected by 1.07 50% maxdmg add.
Same thing goes for Thresher vs GT, but they aren't important cause you can't really get higher dmg then first setup even with lower frame per attack without including silly things like 160/60 armors and 120/45 helms.
What it boils down to is if you want 7.4% dmg or CBF. Your merc will take every frost nova into face, but I don't know how is their chill time. It might be that they will chill by the time you get to next pack. But being chilled also affects your merc attacks speed greatly, even more so with slow weapons like CV/CA.

Reason: 7.4%, not 7.5%
