No, it was the Ancient Tunnels in Act 2 the lost city. No idea what dropped it.

I would suggest holding on to it for future use. I've often thought about uses of a zod rune if it ever dropped for me, which it won't, probably ( fingers crossed ):

Barb- eth great poleaxe, ghost spear for WW barbs
Paladin- eth war pike
Amazon- eth ghost spear, war pike
Druid- eth high ed tomb reaver with zod+ 2 40/15 jewels , eth great poleaxe
Assassinn - None ( wacky tiger strike build? )
Sorceress - None ( wacky enchant melee build? )
Necromancer - None ( wacky melee build synergizing ctc poison nova? )

Polearms and spears are usable by act 2 mercs . this isn't a big concern though because you can get eth obedience which is much the same thing and way cheaper ( requires rwm though ).

Zaphodbrx, thanks for your suggestions, I have been considering saving it. I have been playing the game online and offline for many years and I think I've only found a Ber and a handful of Vexes - I realise how lucky that was.

(I feel kind of cheated that I found it in 1.13 now that high rune drops have been increased - but still very lucky)

I'll let you know how I progress and what I do with it.

You mean having a word or phrase link to it? Highlight the word you want to link, and then hit the link button next to the smiley, and paste your URL in the pop-up. That's how I do it, anyway. Quote This if you want to see what mine looks like code-wise. Also, join the thread that I linked to
