I just realized all the dates are all European on here. Isn't there some setting to americanize this? my puny brain can't handle out of order dates!
Also i first read that as ron pardo.

AFAIK you can set up the time zone in the user CP.

the time zone is correct, but you're putting the day before the month. was it always like that? it's possible I'm suffering the world's least interesting mental breakdown.
4-20
Well Steve, at least they're not using metric dates.
I actually like the the European date-writing system, much more logical!
Yes, it's more logical, yes, americans don't know how to measure anything. yes having to divide by 12 all the time for donuts, anything to do with shipping, and of course inches/feet is dumb. it made sense when things didn't have to be very exact. 12 does handily divide in thirds and fourths, but now it's more trouble than it's worth. I just can't help that I grew up with it, and I know how long 2 feet is but I don't know how long 6 decimeters/60 centimeters is (they're about the same).
I would not mind going metric, except that i don't know how much things are. like km/hr. having to divide and multiply by .62 in your head is hard. mph works great because:
<20 = slow
30-40 = city speed
50-60 = out in the boonies
70-80 = highway speed.
well, that's how it should be anyway. what's that in kM/hr?
<32 = slow I'd probably round to 30
48-64 = city speed Round to 50-65
80-96 = out in the boonies Round to 80-95
112-128 = highway speed Round to 115-130
see? the scale is all messy. plus, I'm driving faster because I'm rounding up almost all the time, especially on the low ends of the spectrum where all the speed limits are--which is another thing. if they changed it here, they wouldn't increase the speed limits because of this:
<****** class="restrain" title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Qh2sWSVRrmo?wmode=opaque" frameborder="0">******>
All this converting is going to be painful for us. we've already lost spacecraft to it. and the stealthy difference between a liter and a quart. I know it's bigger, so they raise the price to switch, but I know they raised it more than 5%! besides when i'm drinking pop, do I even notice the extra 5%? Probably not.
I will say this though, with donuts the dozen does work. you're always sharing donuts. And if you're not sharing donuts, you need to ask yourself, what happened in my life?
Anyway. i hope that was enough drama to live up to the thread. Maybe imagine me pacing and waving my hands around a lot.

Over here that's felony territory. the posted speed limit is 65 mph on only the fastest roads. There's a couple states that allow faster, but no one lives there (montana comes to mind). I think anything 20mph over the limit is considered really really bad.
if you drive anything high performance, you might not spend much time out of first gear.
