I've been comparing the initial 215% wave of light damage to a single punch with fists of thunder, and the single punch always does more damage than WoL. Has this already been mentioned? Anyone else seeing similar results?
You're correct - this bug has just been confirmed on the Bnet forums:

"We just confirmed that if you are dual wielding really fast weapons (such as fist weapons), you can miss a tick of damage depending on how fast your weapon is. This does not happen with every type of weapon. Thank you for this report."
How Diablo II's archaic 25 frame system somehow manages to be more reliable is beyond me.
This was a rather disappointing skill to level up to in the open beta, to say the least.
All that cost, and it's still worse than runed Lashing Tail kick.
I hope they fix it before release.
