Instead of trying to rename his role into a standard role, why not try reading his claimed role? He didn't claim Bodyguard - he claimed Martyr. They're similar, but different in very significant ways.
I didn't realize that reading comprehension would be interpreted a scum tell.
Back in time just a little bit:
He did, and it was clearly shown in the quote in my post where I called it out. So in a single day that's two specific cases of reading comprehension from a person who's usually extremely good about picking up on little details. What's going on? Reading too fast? Intentionally making false statements?
Why are you playing so sloppily?
-----
The cult-reasoning lynch on Valhauros is stupid.
We know that Autti was part of the mafia, because we know there'is no cult. If Valhauros was also mafia, then he'd already have known that Autti wasn't cult, having been on his team. So why ask if he was part of a cult, knowing full well the answer in advance? Brings too much attention to himself, which I find unlikely for Val to willingly do. He's at his best when playing from the sidelines.
It would be using the roleclaim you actually quoted in the same post, one above where you quoted me.
Thou art the Martyr, what more outstanding drive is there than granting thine life to halt wickedness? Each night you may select a participant. Every other night activity that aims that participant instead will target thee that night.
My interpretation is that Val chooses a target and everything aimed at that target is redirected to Val. How do you interpret this?
I'm still not convinced about Val not being scum, but..

I stole Gory's role. I am the paladin. I just investigated Korial and he is guilty. My investigation yesterday was coju, he is innocent.
To clear out a bit the role mechanics. I get to investigate during the day and receive the result right away (or whenever Rlyeh gets a chance to answer my PM).
That works for me.

Mafia/Cult have a day thread to talk. (see bolded above)
So has a conversation been taking place to exhonerate coju using the now stolen paladin role??
Oh wait a moment....we just read that didn't we in FredofErik's post above.
This seems a bit clumsy to me, care to help me understand???
Here is how it works out:
-The paladin gets an opportunity to investigate somebody each day phase. The result is given asap.
-D1 Gory investigated laarz and found him innocent.
-N1 Gory claims.
-Later on N1 I steal Gory's role
-D2 I investigated coju and found him innocent
-D3 (today, about two hours ago) I investigated korial and found him guilty
