My role was stolen as a result of a N1 action. I've never had a chance to investigate anyone today.

Gory, do you think that the role thief is able to steal just roles but not alignment? isn't this how it works most of the time

I can't imagine any circumstance where stealing alignment would work.

I agree with that too kegs, but i would like to hear from others on it. I may be misremembering it but I was thinking of a game that I had my role stolen and became the role stealer and i thought it would be a way to verify other town, so i then stole Gorny's role,making him the role thief,it seems he then stole a scum role turning bad, i'm going to see if i can find it.

I suppose you could maybe turn bad, but you could never turn good from being previously bad, because you would know who all the mafia were. I suppose maybe if you were just a SK or something it could work.

Actuall to me this is town points. The mafia no longer knows who the cop is, and they didn't (now they do) know whent he role switched, and neither if the new cop has investigated or not.

Then again I'm drunk so what do I know!

This actually sparks my memory somehow. Seems familiar. I'd have a snowballs chance in hell of fidning the game though.

Agreed. Remember it is patch #17 so the oookiness with some of the characters has been ironed out.

I did pre-order through NewEgg (coupon -go me!)

I was specifically told my alignment hasn't changed and also that it won't change if I steal a role tonight. I was also told that stealing a role won't change the alignment of the person I targeted.

Unless the role thief was originally mafia, in which case the mafia now has the cop power so we won't be able to investigate anyone anymore for the duration of the game.
