We all know who is friends and who is foes. Erhm. I mean we know which side would be the friend side, and which side would be foe. Just need to figure out who belongs where. The fact it doesn't specifically say mafia or anti-town in the story doesn't have to mean anything.

Well, I can tell this is going to be a fairly active game already, the 6 am start and end time is definately different and I doubt I'm going to be able to wake up for day end most of the time.

How do you know its just story? Are you trying to stop us from looking at something that could be important to determining what is happening this day/night phase?

Also, as a side note, I'm all for a day 1 lynch. I think the probability of actually getting a mafia is like 1 in 4 on the first day or something like that depending on the town to mafia ratio, but as someone already stated the voting and discussion process always provides information which is important to help the town.

@Story: since Rlyeh haven't said anything about the importance about the stories, I assume there's a fair chance that they might contain some information - I will at the very least consider it when I read them, unless Rlyeh states that they are just flavour. Regarding the story today, I see two diferent possibilities:

1. (and IMO most likely) it's simply a comment on the confusion that's always present in the start of a game - town doesn't know who's town and who's scum. Hence the "can't tell friends from foes" thing.

2. The mafia used some sort of dream that would mess with our investigative roles. I think this sound pretty overpowered, and don't consider it to be very likely.

I thought it was already proclaimed by Rlyeh that no actions except mafia's whateveritwas could be used last night. So I'd say it's just flavor.
