copycat!, im especially suprised they even have same durability! It makes me wonder that if a unique is getting rolled for its stats. If it will roll each stat seperately or if the stats are connected to eachother somehow, which might mean that there might not exist a perfect tomb reaver, since there are more various tomb reavers as random numbers in diablo2.
Sadly I dont hve anything to add on topic :(, didnt play much d2 this week and the times I played I had horrible drops. Filled a complete stash with perfect gems/junk jewels/runes while running AT, without finding any s/u improving my perfect grail, which is pretty sad.
Decided to spend a few hours killing some cows looking for a +3 matriarchal or GMB. I was utterly unsuccessful in that quest. However, I found 2 HR! both were on the same run which has to have astronomical odds in happening.

Did a few more runs and got a 5@ sc. First all res charm of any size with any value that I have self-found since restarting to HC only. So that makes me a bit happier.

Persistence pays off, finally succeded in cubing a +3 matriarchal bow with 4 sockets. Took 3 failed tries with matriarchal bows, and 5+ hours of cows.

First of all let me say that I'm jealous. String of Ears is one of my favourite items in all of D2 and I've never personally found one even close to being that perfect.
Tomb Reaver may well be my most favourite item. Back in my b.net days I wound up trying to make a Tomb Reaver WW barb just about every season. I suppose with the large number of variables and extreme rarity of eth, 3os Tombies it'd be unlikely I'd notice if there were two identical high-end versions floating about on a particular ladder, but when I went to trade forums for them I don't recall two identically statted versions cropping up. FWIW, in two seasons I managed to trade for frighteningly good Tombies, as good as perfect save for a few points here and there, but not quite perfect.

More on topic, as noted in the Pindlethon thread, I found COAs in successive days this week. If only they were involved in any build I've used since 1.10 ladder season 2.
I'm so jealous! Wrath is one of the few bows that I've not gotten a chance to use much. I have nearly every bow runeword on bnet, but wrath was one I only played with a little bit. Have you read this write up?
Cool! If I would be swimming in Ber runes, I would make wrath composite bow for my kicksin. I feel with the decrepify, it shouldnt be a problem to go without stormshield and the ctc lifetap and cbf opens up ring and gloves slot. The decrepify would make deathsentries, crushing blows and offcourse kicks stronger. Could work pretty good and I never read about someone doing this. Also no more blockrecovery and superhigh vit, could make killing speed faster.
I have not read that before. I did use Wrath on B.net during the previous ladder season though. It is compete awesomeness, I actually had people laugh at me for using it like the guy said in the thread you linked. I did a kind of magezon build with it. I would strafe to decrep everything hit a group with FA. I used eye of eltich to buff FA duration. Then hit the frozen group with an immolation arrow. Then strafe again, rinse and repeat.
With crushing blow equipment and the elemental damage the build was great. Awesome CC as well, I was on SC ladder and the only time I ever died was 1 time in uber Tristram when me and another guy failed at luring mephisto out as baal came with him.
Fresh off a restart (necessarily, as it's been over a year and at least two computers since I've played), HC of course for manliness! factor, got my first half-decent rune today. Too lazy to open GoMule for readout, but it's an Um. Resists, OW, in 98.3% of runewords, etc. Good thing I muled it off (at the Far Oasis WP) before I died or something.
Spilled milk: the results of two days of NM Meph running to gear the guy up. He generously coughed up Tarn, Waterwalks and 3 pairs of Frosties inside about 150 runs (at ~250 MF). Not a bad trade for an Um I guess (the rest of his gear was gambled/shopped blues and yellows, plus Rhyme and 4PT GP). The death was stupid enough, trying to finesse my merc around a twisty section of, where else, the Maggot Lair where I was Holy Frozen and unceremoniously one-shotted by an FE/HF/Amp beetle. On the upside, I remember now why I need Teleport charges in Hell. Learning is fun.
And at least his reincarnation won't be starting completely from zero like he did. Still have a GoMule stash full of Meph droppings. I'm kind of a packrat as I play impatiently and, you know, kill lots of characters.
