I hope ~3 months and ~50 pages is enough to justify a new Item Find Thread, but here's the link to the old one anyways.
I have probably picked up roughly 5000 magic sorceress orbs in my D2 career in the search for 2 specific mods together. You wouldn't think that "only" 2 mods would prove that elusive of a combo, but I've found 6 SoJ's, 3 Stormlashes and even a Tyrael's Might while ID'ing almost every ilvl 60+ magic orb along the way searching for this.
Finally though, while bouncing through LK and watching a hockey game (i.e. mindless rune-runs), my orb dropped. My twinked characters will never have to pick up a single blue orb again. The only orb left to find, of course, is Death's Fathom. Grail-4, and that's one of 'em. Honestly though, because blue-colored sorceress orbs are exponentially more frequent drops than gold-colored Diminsional Shards, this feels like something more of a victory considering the time it'll save me going forward.

Thanks to Larzuk for the two sockets. I don't have a couple of +5% Damage Fire Facets to stick in it at the moment, nor a perfect +Fire Damage Ormus Robes, nor a couple of +2 beta-BKWB rings (nor do I use hacks that could give me Hellfire Torch/Annihulis)... but otherwise my Enchantress' prebuff gear has progressed as far as it can: 10xskillers + Enchant Ormus + Magefists +2xSoJ +Arachnid's Mesh + Spirit + +6Orb + Volcanic Amulet & Circlet + Call To Arms switch = Level 52 Enchant providing 5k average damage with 1344 second duration...
... the irony is that I'm definitely staying retired from HF-rushing or self-MP (and never bothered with MP or trade and won't start), so this orb doesn't provide any practical benefit at all anymore. But the search itself had become such a habit that I wasn't willing to give it up until I got my orb. Finally, I did.
PS. I guess I could keep searching for a Volcanic +3 Enchant +3 Fire Mastery orb though.![]()
A 3FB 3FM 3Fire Skills 2os one would be even better ^^

Last night I was getting everything together for my FB/Nova sorc. I had finally got her to lvl 80 to equip everything and start Hell. I have always played self found, no hacks, no trading, no duping, etc. So the runes to make Infinity and Call to Arms are pretty special, at least to me anyway. I made the Infinity first, in an ethereal thresher, and got a damn +256% ED roll. It's going on a merc, so the -ELR was not a big deal at -49%. I made the CTA next, in hopes of better results. I was not in the stars last night as I got a +2 battle orders roll.
I understand that variable rolls are what makes certain items so special. But, I can understand now why some people dupe runes to get better roles on multiple attempts. I should have just left the Insight on the merc and took one of the Ber runes and made a CoH for him. Nova drains the mana bulb so fast that I should have know better to make an Infinity for this character.
