Days until someone full clear Inferno Date Pool

if people use weeks are we to assume that if someone beats inferno any day besides tuesday everyone is wrong? first guess used months

Yes, a week is 7 days. If it happens on a day other than Tuesday, then yes, anyone who guessed weeks from May 15th would not have guessed the day correctly.

As far as the first post, he said "1 months" lol. I've never heard of 1 months. You should have him clarify.

Btw, this is talking about fastest clear, so obviously has to be SC, unless there's really an insane person that can complete HC first :P

Was this recently? You know there are 20 or so Chaos Maps. Or do you just mean beating Merciless?

I meant beating merciless then clearing at least one chaos map. I figured that they were pretty much all the same, some zone + random monsters of level 60. It's not like I need "gear" or "levels" to clear them either. I'm level 51 with blues and doing fine, so what's the point of playing more if I don't care for PvP and don't need to improve to clear the supposedly hardest dungeon? edit: Yes, it was recently. I did that last weekend.

Which brings me to another subject;

If D3 is "skill" based and you can kite and avoid stuff without proper gear or being the suggested level (Like PoE), then it'll be cleared quickly by skilled players with time. If D3 is "gear" based and you get one hit by unavoidable damage, then the combat is probably pretty shallow, and you'll need to farm / $$$$$$$$$$$$ gear to get anywhere. And since Blizz likes $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, my bet is on that one.

So, probably longer than a week.

Yes, as I mentioned in the OP, may 15th is day-0

As I'm an optimist, I'll go with the first one that D3 is 'skill' based, even from the skill list you can see that every class have escape skills, movement skills, defensive skills, damage reductions etc. unlike D2, this and the freedom of skill combination paves the way for a more engaging and tactical combat without reliance on spike damage (unless you're severely undergeared of course)

Nice work. Ya, the Chaos are pretty much the same, but the game does run a counter on them until you've done 20 or so consecutive, then restarts.

I too am worried about the whole "unavoidable damage" thing.
