Patch 16 framerate issue (Mac)

Anyone else having poor framerate issues on OS X machines? My two Win 7 machines are running the beta just fine (60fps no prob). My Macbook pro Core i7 @ 2.9GHz with an AMD 6490M went from playing at 45+ fps pre-patch 16 to about 10fps post-patch 16.

It is basically unplayable. Forget basically, it IS unplayable.

I'm getting 21 fps now and it's horrible. Hopefully they will fix this before release.

Just got the following blue response:

"Compatibility
There are currently some performance issues with the Mac version of Beta 16. The build may be performing slower than it did before the patch. We are aware of this issue and hope to resolve it in a future patch."

The blues hit me with that within 45 minutes. Glad to see they have this logged.

Nearly unplayable for me esp in town, I run 3-8 FPS when around center of town. I never get past 22 FPS anywhere. Sad Panda.
