If you could start a ladder season with any item what would it be? o

Hello!

Just an interesting (and useless) question that came up during discussion with a friend: If there would be a new ladder season and you could start with any item in your inventory what would it be..?

Would you choose Enigma or Infinity to get things rolling on faster. Or would you choose anni (if perfect one allowed) that could serve on each and every character you plan to build during that season. Or some absurd rare/craft that would be priceless at the later stages? Lets assume you can`t have anything socketed in it unless it is a runeword (For example Archon Plate of the Whale is allowed but not with fully socketed with 15ias/15ar jewels but Enigma obviously comes with its runes).

My starting item would be rare diadem with following mods:
+ 2 Necro Skills
+61-90 to Mana
+16-20% to each Resistance
+41-60 Life
+20% Faster Cast Rate
Teleport charges

Regardless if i had to roll those mods or get them as perfect. I would make same choice for SC / HC. Necromancer is nice character to start and end up with. Teleport charges makes things much easier prior to Enigma. It can do ubers (with charges possibly even before enigma) and morph into scary bone necro for late season PvP purposes all the time using the same diadem.

What would be your dream item for the start of the imaginary season? :P

This one. 2 sin 20 fcr 2os visionary 60 life circlet with 30 strength, 20 dex, or 30 frw (not sure which I'd like more, to be honest).
It would be priceless, well worth waiting a whole ladder season to put on my nonladder sin and building one on ladder to use it in the mean time.

Edit: might change it anyway. There are a lot more 2os visionaries on nonladder than perfect claws...

Lets not bring bugged items or ones that can`t spawn anymore.

Would your answer change if you can choose mods for your rare item but have to roll those? Or if you could start HC ladder season with an item (Knowing that when HC ladder ends your item is almost worthless becouse no-one plays HCnl).

You'd think there's many choices here but I don't think there are. Either you'll choose the most valuable item possible (when you eventually sell it), or the most useful initially. So I guess I'd choose either the godliest claw in existence (if those are the rarest? maybe a 400% ed eth PB w/ 2 sox and 40% ias is rarer?), or Inifnity to get my Sorc rolling. Ofc due to jsp users screwing up the economy, you could easily take the claw and sell it at a massive under-price few weeks into the Ladder and buy all the RWs you need.

Edit: if you pvp, there's a third choice, namely wishing for a godly pvp item and keeping it yourself. I don't pvp so for me it's a moot point.

I would say that having an Enigma at the start of a ladder, will make make things far easier.
That would be my choice :P

I change my vote. Upon reflection, I'd rather have that nice 300% ed 2os eth rep fool's 40 ias +20 min damage war fist. Might as well add 3 weapon block, 3 mind blast, and 3 lightning sentry as staffmods. Hmm... mind blast or venom? >_> ISO a fourth staffmod.

Griezer, a perfect fool's berzerker axe with mods like the war fist I mentioned above would probably be worth more than the claw, in spite of being less unlikely to spawn for several reasons. Melee duelers are crazy, enormously D2 "wealthy" / willing to spend real money on D2, and there are more of them than wwsin players.
