Just thought I should point out that value of LCs are not double of the equivalent SC. SCs naturally have much higher value because they allow use of GCs (skillers mostly). LCs have a much lower equivalent value as they are awkward for the inventory. I'm not supposed to comment existing trades but just thought I should point this out since frozzzen's guide isn't clear on this.

But you were basing your valuation on a wrong assumption (i.e. that LCs are double the value of the equivalent SCs), and thus a wildly inaccurate valuation. I would have had no problems if both of you had reached a valuation by yourself and agreed, but you clearly looked to frozzzen's price guide for guidance, and had reached the wrong conclusions.
I am firmly of the view that most people in this forum will agree with my earlier response, so I am not apologising to you for what I thought was a very reasonable response from myself. First, I was not rude in my post, and second, I did not scupper the deal since zaph had obviously not agreed to trade for your LCs.
@Thyiad: I apologise for this OT reply but I felt compelled to defend myself against an unreasonable response.

Edit: Get over yourself. There exists no pricing method for LCs, so I used reference to the only comparable mention in the price check thread. I'm not sure what your issue is, but you had no business busting in on a legitimate trade thread with conjecture and assumptions. I don't trade here to "get rich," I do it because it's fun and I enjoy the interaction.
