I feel compelled to start this thread because of the frequency in which I have listened to the D1, D1 Hellfire, D2C, and D2xpac soundtracks as of late. My addiction started when I was writing my 250pg graduate studies thesis. About 60 pages in I started listening to the D2C soundtrack. Shortly thereafter I bought all the other soundtracks and put them on a random loop. Lately I have been listening to these soundtracks on earbuds at work whenever I am working toward a deadline.
I find the music to be relaxing (doesn't make much sense to me!) and the lack of lyrics really keeps me focused on my work. Often I feel energized, perhaps tapping in to years of energy directed at gameplay. Uleman is the man!
Does anyone else listen to the soundtrack under similar circumstances?
I've listened to one that I got a while back, can't remember where. I think it's just the D2 LOD soundtrack, not sure. I agree it's great to have for background music. I too find it relaxing, I think it's because it's nostalgic and brings back lots of good memories.
Where did you find all of those versions?
Did you buy them? Please, where?
