Relax, it's normal to exclude the easy explanations first. Getting angry about people who want to help will not lead to any good.

when you look in your D2 directory's save folder there should be a file (YourCharsName).d2s. Is it there? If not, check recycle bin, main D2 folder, etc. or run a search for that file. If it got moved just put it back in the save folder & restart the game.

You can try and restore a backup of the char using ATMA, if you are using that wonderful muling app Just make sure that you do not accidentally dupe anything.
