With a larger sample size, all 5 classes seem much closer in terms of popularity. Barbarian seems to be the most popular over most of the internet. He's kinda like the poster boy of D3 in many ways, I think :P.
the barb by far looks the best. i dont care what you or your drunk cat think, the male barb looks awesome.
i like the voice of the male barb also but he comes in second to female wiz imo. she sounds just like azula from avatar:the last air bender and thats just 8 levels of awesome in my book
Those results are pretty interesting.
You know what's funny is that the first Wizard I made in the beta was actually named Azula because I planned on doing the Lightnings :P.
The Wizard in D3 has a decidedly English accent though, I think.
I agree that the Male Barb's voice is awesome - it's probably the main reason why I'd play a Male barb instead of a female one :P.
To those who said they haven't played a Diablo game before: seriously, the battlechest of Diablo, Diablo 2, and LoD is like $20. Even less from places like eBay.
As for classes: DH is last as expected; Barbarian makes sense at first, it is the returning class, a classic, and perhaps most simple to use; Monk is second, which could be surprising but I think Wizard and WD fans are just more vocal so it only seems like the Monk should be behind them.
I'm most looking forward to the WD, I think it's the most interesting class, but I'm planning to play the Barb first.
OMG, I'm old.
