1. You don't have to mouse over each item on the ground. Hit the ALT key, and their descriptions will all appear.
2. If playing Single Player, try setting the players setting to eight. (By typing "/players8", without the quotation marks. Monsters will be tougher, but you'll level faster and gain more loot. If not playing Single Player, play Single Player.
3. Playing at /players8, I generally kill Andariel around level 19. You're not far off.
4. Buy a Tome of Town Portal and one of Identify. Each will hold up to twenty scrolls, and take up far less inventory space.

now that i've been really getting into it i've been reading articles and watching some vids about diablo 3 and the changes they've made, and i feel pretty excited about most of them, especially the skill system change. how do you guys feel about all the changes? or a different topic for a different thread perhaps?
let me know what you think![]()
Just wanted to say, I really like what you have written.
As for tips, if you are not using an attack that requires mana, dont keep mana potions in belt. and be sure to stack potions in the belt, when you use a potion it moves down. Also, find a 3 slot belt at least until you have enough strength to wear a 4 slot belt. This will help clean up your inventory as you can hold more potions.
And try zeal![]()
oh damn tbone, no you didnt.. no you didnt!!!
ParadoxE, why are you attacking with 1 strike? have you not placed any points into "zeal??" As a paladin you need zeal so you have improved attack rating and you can strike 5 times with one mouse click at lvl 12. What skills have you assigned only it appears as though your skills are all over the place. Its more difficult for you because you have not combined your melee skills. You would do better using ZEAL as your attack, coupled with a few points in MIGHT and SACRIFICE at low levels.
At level 18 you would change to CONCENTRATE instead of MIGHT
You definately do not need holy bolt or charge. Ideal skillsfor melee are ZEAL and MIGHT at lower levels, followed by ZEAL + CONCENTRATE and HOLY SHIELD at a higher level plus possibly SALVATION if your resists are very low.
With these you will find life lot easier.
Also the heavier the armour you wear, the faster yoru stamina will be depleted. Look for a light armour with some resists or life. Do not worry so much about defence at this stage.
