Weapon enchants

I was watching one video on youtube about enchants, i'll add it here. However in the video he doesn't say what those enchants are. He doesn't even say the name. I was especially interested into the one at 0:53. I think it looks magnificently awesome, but I can only hope it's effect will be useful. So can anyone give a hint or link where I can get more info on these? Anyone who plays beta could describe these? I think that effect at 0:53 indicates that it's Cold enchanted. It just means that it deals additional damage of that elemental type, I think.

Enchants has been removed from Diablo 3 some time ago. Mystic (enchanter) should be back once Blizzard know what they want to do with her. Although I'd rather have enchants then gems, but well...

Hm, that's unfortunate... So does it mean we wont see these effects neither? Or they are just switched to gems now instead of enchants?

As far as i know those effects are now come from weapons affixes. They took enchants and put them into items, something like that if it haven't changed already..

The colors and effects on weapons depends on elemental damage affixes like poison, lighting, arcane etc.

In the beta, you can see these effects on weapons - they just denote certain affixes, like what Kblavkalash said.

So, for example, the dull red one at the start is for 'vampiric' items - ones that give you life based on a % of damage dealt.
