I find myself just not compelled to buy the game yet. If I can download the client and play this weekend I may change my mind. It just seems like they have dumbed it down to me. I have really enjoyed coming back to D2 after a long time off
Managed to have a play. No stat point allocation and I'm not too happy about skillpoint placement but apart from that, it's pretty much captured the essence of Diablo but with the game play of Titan Quest! That's my initial feeling.
EDIT: Ah there is stat point allocation! There is an option in settings to turn on "Elective Mode".
EDIT2: No there isn't. You cannot allocate points to str, dex etc. Skill tree is not as good but it is still rather polished.
