That's what I think. It's impossible to tell at the moment.

Not really, because the damage is always displayed once per 0.5 sec for Firebats, whatever you APS may be, but other spells get faster with more APS.

Well the question is if Firebats would be able to proc a Fetish with each half second of casting, would be a lot of casts in a short span of time. Plus far less clicking is needed since its channeled and you just can hold down the button.

To be clear -- every half sec of firebats you get a 3% chance to proc. Not exactly godly but interesting nonetheless.

I would focus building summoner WD around creating giant swarms.

You would need some health globe pick up range increase and you could keep up massive army up constantly. Soul harvest could be replaced with something, but it just seem so superb skill it would feel like a huge sacrifice to pass it up.

This build would be bit like skelly necro from D2.

Firebats (just as DoTs and all similar spells) display their damage every half a second. I assume Fetish Sycophants have a chance to proc at those times.

I would assume every cycle which is same as your APS each give you chance for a proc.
