Really that hard? (Inferno)

Hi Community,

what do you think of Bashioks latest statement regarding difficutly and Inferno.

You're going to be smashing your face against Act 1 Inferno for weeks.

For my opinion i'm not sure if Inferno will be that hard, we will see.

If yes, there will be hopefully many viable builds!

Perfecting your build before then will not matter.

What about viable builds? :( - Will they viable enough for Inferno? (e.G. ZombieDog Bomber, Melee Wiz, ....)

This is something that's always concerned me.

If a sub-optimal build is Inferno-viable, does that mean that Inferno isn't challenging enough for optimal builds?

I suspect that Blizzard's solution is to tweak Inferno to be challenging even for optimal builds - that's the only way they can make sure Inferno is the most difficult thing ever. As a result, the actual number of viable builds to solo Inferno with won't be that high, I think =/.

That said, I think there'll be more leeway for builds when you're in a group, but that's the same for all difficulty levels :P.

inferno is very easy to make hard. but very hard to make fun.

They already made Diablo II with 2 levels except normal. I Think, when they are saying game is hard so many times, they may actually be right.

What you have to consider is how fast.It might be possible with lesser gear but at a very slow pace where your aggroing smaller groups of enemies or even individuals.It might be possible with lesser gear where you have more strategic teamwork.Look at the way people play in Tristram in D2 when people have got basic gear compared to how they play by act 4.Inferno might bring a new approach.When you think about it people planned a lot more when doing the Ubers,Stack on resists,get some Crushing blow plenty of life etc or it would be impossible to do.

It should be harder than D2's hell because D2's hell is not that hard at all. WoW's hm is harder than hell in D2 difficulty wise even it's different kind of game.

only weeks ? not that awesome.
i think they gonna do it kinda like wow with all the gear progress to survive. well, i think its kinda cool. hope it will take longer then weeks and he said act 1 on purpose meaning that act 2 and higher are even harder.
