I doubt anyone here reconize me. Was very active in the late 2009.
Was able to borrow D3 beta from a friend for 1 day and it was fantastic.
Got cold feet now and want to spend some "nostalgic" time in D2 again before 15th May.

Best way to start of with a empty account?
Go lvl a MF sorc and try to get some decent runes from hellforge?

Another "What char should I start with" thread? .. sigh.

Heres how I would start the next ladder, if D3 wasnt approaching. There is.


1. Sorceress, Meteor+Frozen Orb.
2. Respecc at lvl 75-80 and go for Enchant'ress.
(With enchant, Id solo rush Nrml-Nm so easily.)
3. Create any mf sorc.
4. Create a smiter for uber.
5. Create any fun char.
6. Create another fun char...
7. and so on..


I made my enchantress as my 4th char this ladder.. And the play from nrml a1-hell a1 went insanely fast and was alot of fun!
I have my enchantress geared to about 75-80% so she can give any othe char a 4kFiredmg attack.

Obviously will not be to everyone's liking but I usually go Lightning Fury/Charged Srike amazon with Freezing Arrow (+cold arrow synergy) to deal with the pesky LIs... Only real challenge is hell ancients and the bosses go down easily with CS.. Can MF anywhere including WSK
