Nice video.

I think you could improve your time by switching Circle of Life to Spiritual Attunement and then using Firebats instead of Grasp of the Dead to burn away your mana. That's what I do anyway.

I'm pretty sure that Poison Dart with Splinters does more DPS to single targets than Firebats, so he can kill the SK faster by throwing down DoTs like Haunt and Grasp of the Dead and spending the rest of his time blowing darts :P.

Grasp is most likely a waste of time, even with its short cast time. With Groping Eels, it does 206% damage over 8 seconds. Poison Dart with Splinters does a total of 180% damage. Under ideal circumstances you gain 26% damage over 8 seconds by throwing down Grasp. However, achieving that requires you to really pay attention and refresh it as fast as you can, and Leoric also has the tendency to move out of it. Grasp just doesn't worth a skill slot against him.

I didn't actually do tests about Firebats vs. Poison Dart, but Dire Bats feels better to me when you have the mana to cast it. I'll look into this.

EDIT: With the same gear and using only PD vs PD + DB I killed Leoric in 34 and 31 seconds, respectively. This is only after one try though and crits could have screwed up the results, since the difference isn't that big.

you do have a good point. and i didnt even figure that.

i figured grasp would be better because of the maximizing of use of skills at one time. maybe this does hidden damage? probly not though since you tested your theory. and i also figured zombie dogs would be a waste of course, because u cannot control who they attack, whereas grasp could pwn everything.

I think that 4 WD with Soul Harvest, spamming Dire Bats and then Toads (adjacent to the SK) would take him down pretty easily.

Soul Harvest is insane in the beta, and makes a single casting of Dire Bats, even in a 4 player game, a room clearing cannon.

Edit: after some testing, Toads eat too much mana and don't necessarily have a good hit rate, even while adjacent. I think Jumping Spiders would be better, for it's lower mana cost and essentially 100% hit rate.

4 Frenzy Barbs with 2H would probably do the trick too.
