I've also made the goal not to eat **** until release date. That means only chicken filet, lean ground beef, tuna and oatmeal for me. That also means no candy, no fastfood, no sugar and all that jazz. Going to be fun!

Try waiting since 2005. When our only glimmer of d3 hope was rumors that a swedish musician said he'd recorded some music for the game, which was thought to be about heaven vs hell.

SC2 came out July 2010, and the only news we've had on its first expansion is when they announced it at last year's Blizzcon. There's been nothing new since then - who knows how long it'll take to come out :S.

I'm hoping that this is because SC2 is an esport, and that the more PvM-oriented D3 gameplay will have a shorter development time for an expansion.

During the week I have enough to do with working and working out after work (so much "work"!)

I'm trying to collect 1000 cars in GT5 before D3 is released. Am at 470 now. It will take ages.

This sounds like a good idea. Keeps you busy, forgetting about the wait, and makes you productive at the same time!
