Diablo 3 on 30" Monitor 2560x1600

Hi all,

I'm looking to purchase a 30" monitor that will run D3 at 2560x1600 resolution. I want to run the game on High settings and 60FPS. I'm debating what kind video card I should purchase and wanted to get feedback of current beta users with similar specs. I'd like to stick with a single AMD card. I've been looking at both the 6950 and 6970 2GB cards.

I have the Dell U3011 running DIII @ 2560x1600. I haven't tested on many video cards though, mine is a 5990. I get about 110fps with VSync disabled. Even with the 6950, you'll have no problem running the game maxed out. Best bargain would be to go with the Radeon 6950 (I can get one, the XFX HD-695X-ZNFC, for $237.55 in Canada) and flash it to a 6970.
