So guys, have any of you used paypal so far?
As i heard, there are certain restrictions and different amount of fees related to different types of paypal accounts.
Since we are required to attach paypal account with our battlenet account and there are certain restrictions on (i think it was) personal paypal accounts, i was wondering if there is someone among us experienced enough to lighten things up.
I've heard somewhere that if you are using personal account type the maximum amount of money flow you can have is about 500$ a month. Meaning if i loot 2 super unique items (theoretically) that are worth more than that on the rmah, i wont be able to get the money on my paypal account...
To be able to upgrade your paypal account to a preferred account, you must order something of of a website like Amazon or Ebay and have it shipped to your address.
Also, you need to link a Bank Account and/or a credit card.
I verified mine the other day and now it just says that the account limits have been removed. There aren't any specific limits mentioned anywhere that I can find now.
There were news stories circulated last year that the Paypal account of the guy who wrote Minecraft got frozen. So there is apparently some sort of auto-bot monitoring of cash throughput.
It's entirely optional. You can even still use the RMAH without paypal, however if you sell anything on the RMAH the money will only be able to go into your B.net balance. If you have a paypal account attached you will have the option of having the money go into that instead (minus whatever additional fees that incurs).
I used Paypal to pay for my Digital preordered Diablo 3.
