Tainted sun

I finished the viper claw, got the staff, but I did not get any indication about the tainted sun quest. Why?
I talk to warriv or drognan and doesn't go on.

Talk to Drognan, then enter the palace cellar (includes a harem level... with no girls).

No I mean I have the quest, but is not proceeding. Drognan and warriv do not say anything about the quest after killing everything in the viper claw

Did you go down to level2 and smash the altar? Do you have the amulet that drops out of the altar?

You should talk to Drognan and then go to the palace.
