That's about the same as my mom. Is her bf(?) and kids cool or do they suck?
They are very cool. I put "?" after the BF part, because it just sounds weird, being at their age and whatnot. But I don't know what else to call it.
But his kids are cool too. We give each other presents on Bdays and at Christmas. And last year I held christmas with all of them plus my dad, which was great too. I would hate nothing more then to have divorced parents who couldn't stand each others company or even speak together. Luckily that isn't the case for my parents.

I had a couple if douchebag step brothers while in high school. I also currently have a couple others that are cool, but they are at least 10 years older than me and we never lived together. Glad it works out for you guys.
We never lived together either. But nonetheless it still works out.
